Welcome to my website. Thank you for taking the time to visit it. I truly believe you were meant to find it.
The information that follows will lead to the most important decision you will ever make. Please take the time to read it ALL before you decide whether to look into it further or reject it. Have an open mind and if challenged by what I say please question why you believe what you currently believe. This message ends with very GOOD NEWS!
Have you ever wondered why you are here? Have you ever pondered what the meaning of life is? Are you concerned about things that are going on in the world today and where this is all heading? Are you noticing things happening in the world that just don’t make sense to you or are clearly wrong? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” and you genuinely want to find out what is really going on then you are at the start of an incredible journey to discover the truth!
We are deliberately being deceived on a scale most people would struggle to imagine. We are being lied to about who we are, where we are, why we are here, and where this is all going. We are not a random accident with no real meaning to our lives who will just die one day and that is the end of it. We are created by God with a reason and purpose for living and have a future which we can decide.
If you already believe there is a God, but maybe don’t know exactly who that is and what it means for you, then you have already taken the first step towards discovering the truth about who you really are.
If you do not believe there is a God then please seriously consider why you have come to that conclusion. Is a building not proof of a builder? Is a painting not proof of a painter? Is the creation not proof of a creator? Did ‘nothing’ really explode and become everything!?
You actually need considerably more faith to believe the earth came from ‘nothing’ than to believe somebody put it here. Think about the electronic device you are reading this on for example. Did it just appear out of nowhere?…or was it designed and built by somebody with logical function for a specific purpose? Can the unimaginably more complex workings of creation really be by accident…pure random chance?
There are many things that are presented to us as scientific fact which are not actually scientific at all! Science should be based on evidence, observed through testing. The ‘big bang’ was not observed. There is no evidence of it and it cannot be tested. The amazing world we live in presents scientific evidence all around us of a designer, builder and maintainer of unimaginable intelligence and power! The logical function of creation for the specific purpose of maintaining life is observable and testable.
We do not have to have any doubt. We can know that God exists because of the evidence of His creation. He created you and this beautiful world in which we live. Think of how it all works together and how everything has been provided for us to not only survive but thrive!
Romans 1:19-20 ESV — For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Evolution is an area of science where fiction has been presented to us mixed in with fact. The adaptation of species to change is scientific. There is lots of evidence of it. It has been tested and is widely observable in creation. What is not scientific is that one kind of species can evolve into another kind of species. Despite what we have been told there is no evidence of it. It has never been observed and cannot be tested. A cat cannot become a dog just as an ape cannot become a man. We are not animals either as we are so often told. This completely undermines our unique position at the pinnacle of God’s physical creation.
The truth is God created us to be part of His family and to be His representatives on earth. To rule and reign over His very good creation and develop it to perfection in partnership with Him. There was to be no evil, suffering and death.
This has clearly not happened so what went wrong?
God created us to be like Him and He gave us many of His attributes which include free will. He gave us free will so we can choose to have a loving relationship with Him and each other. If He had not given us the free will to choose then no relationship can be genuine and there would be absolutely no point to all of this.
The Bible records the truth of how our ancient ancestors were deceived by spiritual evil into using their free will to choose to rebel against God and to start to define what was good and evil for themselves. This introduced ‘sin’ into the world which means to fail. The failure to listen to God’s perfect wisdom and adhere to His perfect instruction of how we should live and what is truly good and evil. God’s judgement upon us for allowing sin to corrupt His very good creation was the curse of death. This is why we die. Because of our sin.
The introduction of sin led to us being separated from God because He is holy and without sin. The whole human race from that point on became separated from the close personal relationship He wanted with every single one of us. To remain in His presence would defile His holiness and He could not allow that.
The continued influence of spiritual evil upon us defining good and evil for ourselves throughout human history, keeping us in constant rebellion against God, has led to the world we live in today. Although there is absolutely still much good in the world it is obviously so incredibly far from perfect and how God created it to be. I think most of us would agree that evil is in abundance and around us all the time now.
So what is the solution?
There is only one solution and it is only God who can save us from ourselves. Just look at human history. We don’t learn from our mistakes and things are obviously getting worse and not better. God’s plan to restore His creation, including us, to what He originally intended is also recorded in the Bible and provides the only true and realistic hope for our world.
The Bible itself is completely unique. There is no other book like it. Its writings contain hundreds of predictions about the future. Over three quarters of them have already happened exactly as the Bible said they would. So what are the chances of the rest happening, do you think? Do you not want to know what the future really holds for you, your children, and your grandchildren?
All the problems in our world have come about because of sin. We have all sinned and, therefore, contributed to the way the world has become. We have to be really honest with ourselves here. We can all think of things we have done which we knew were wrong at the time. How did we know they were wrong? Because God gave us a conscience. Our moral compass. Many of us have sinned unknowingly having never been told that God’s standards, by which He expects us to live, are also recorded in the Bible.
There are many laws and commandments from God recorded in the Bible about how we should live. The most well known are the ‘Ten Commandments’ which I am sure most of us have heard of. These are the very basic laws by which we are all expected to live and are commonly referred to as the ‘moral law’. Here are just some of them:
The first commandment: Exodus 20:3 ESV — “You shall have no other gods before me.
What have we made our god in this world? What do we worship or place most worth upon? Ourselves, money, or pleasure maybe?
Deep down we all know God exists but we choose to ignore or reject Him. Subconsciously we know accepting His reality means we become morally responsible to Him and we would have to change. We don’t want that. We like doing what we want and putting ourselves at the centre of things.
The third commandment: Exodus 20:7 ESV — “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
Have we ever said ‘Oh my god’ or ‘Jesus Christ’ as a kind of curse when things don’t go our way?
Would we use our Mother’s name like this? In the place of a swear word? For the vast majority of us I am sure the answer is ‘No’ because we love and respect our Mothers. Yet nearly all of us have used the name of the God who gave us a Mother in this way!
The sixth commandment: Exodus 20:13 ESV — “You shall not murder.
Initially seems obvious but just pause to think for a moment about how many people are murdered everyday across the world. Through war, crime, suicide (murder of yourself), and unwanted babies…now murdered on an industrial scale across the world and fully endorsed as perfectly acceptable by so many.
Most of us are probably still thinking, as I once did, we are OK with this one but in the New Testament of the Bible Jesus explains what not murdering someone really means to God:
Matthew 5:21-22 ESV — “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
God’s standard is moral perfection and He knows us better than we know ourselves. What He is looking at is not just how we act but the true attitude of our hearts, meaning our whole inner being, towards Him and others.
The seventh commandment: Exodus 20:14 ESV — “You shall not commit adultery.
This one is not as straight forward as it first appears either. In the New Testament of the Bible Jesus also explains what not committing adultery really means to God:
Matthew 5:28 ESV — But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Can any of us truly say we have not done this? It applies to both men and woman and it doesn’t matter whether you are married or not. Pornography?
The eighth commandment: Exodus 20:15 ESV — “You shall not steal.
We have never stolen anything? Not even something small or insignificant and of low value. A pen or a piece of paper from school or work for example?
The ninth commandment: Exodus 20:16 ESV — “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
How many lies have we told in our lives? Uncountable for most of us I expect. We have never gossiped? Never talked about somebody behind their back or defamed their character? I don’t think any of us realise the level of pain and suffering this has caused to people in our world from the knock on effect it has.
The tenth commandment: Exodus 20:17 ESV — “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”
We have never wanted something, more than we actually need, that somebody else has?
Again we have to be honest about who we really are here. In reality we are all a mixture of good and bad. Not one of us meets God’s standard of moral perfection upon which we will be judged. Some people are obviously considerably more evil than others but we have all broken many if not all of the ‘Ten Commandments’. It doesn’t matter how much good we think we have done to balance things out. Justice doesn’t work like that. For example, it doesn’t matter how much good somebody on trial for murder has done in their life. Even if they run the biggest and best orphanage in the world. They will still be punished in full for the murder they have committed.
Romans 3:23 ESV — for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
If we choose to remain unreconciled sinners God will find every single one of us guilty as charged when we stand before Him in judgement. The punishment is for our soul to be separated from Him for eternity and is known as the second death. Everyone of us knows we will physically die one day (the first death), when our soul separates from our body, but what most do not know is God created our soul to be eternal. The place where God will send those who reject this message, and therefore Him, is described as the Lake of Fire in the Bible. None of us want to go there…forever!
Revelation 20:15 ESV — And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Yes…the real truth is there is a day in the future when every single one of us will stand before God, the creator of everything, and be judged and justice done. There will be no hiding of anything by anyone. All wrongs will be put right. God knows everything we have ever done, said, and even thought! Just pause and think about that for a moment. We will all have to face the consequences of how we have chosen to live our lives. Every secret, everything we thought we had gotten away with, will be revealed.
Hebrews 9:27 ESV — And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
I know this is hard to hear but in reality the truth often is. Please continue to bear with me though as you CAN avoid this terrible fate as I, and countless others, have already done.
If I had not been completely honest with you and shown you your current state before a holy God and the fact you face His just wrath then the GOOD NEWS that follows would have made absolutely no sense to you whatsoever, and been easily and tragically dismissed. There is HOPE for our future. Read on…
So if God created us to be part of His family but we can’t be with Him because of the gulf between His holiness and our sinfulness then how can God rectify this and save us from His coming judgement?
The Bible records how God sent His only unique Son Jesus Christ to accomplish this incredible rescue mission. Many people have come to believe Jesus is just a made up character but the historical records show He was a real person who lived around two thousand years ago. Jesus lived the perfect sinless life we were all created to live but can’t because of the sinful nature we have inherited from our ancestors. There is, therefore, so much to be learned from His life and teachings as recorded in the Bible.
His impact on the world at that time was explosive and obviously is still huge today. He is easily the most important and influential figure in human history. His message was spoken with true authority. He commanded everyone everywhere to repent because He was bringing God’s Kingdom to earth. To take the earth back from the corrupting influence of evil upon it. To ‘repent’ means to change both our hearts and minds, to change the direction of our lives, and turn away from our sin. He had come to rescue us from the consequences of our sin at the coming judgement. This is as true today as it was then.
Matthew 3:2 ESV — “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
So how did He actually achieve this?
I am sure that most of us know that ultimately although many did accept His message the majority rejected it, and Him, and He was brutally beaten and crucified on false charges. This easily initially perceived tragedy was in fact a triumph! It was the culmination of God’s plan to save us all. On that cross Jesus Christ, the perfect sinless Son of God, took upon Himself the punishment due to us for our sins. As the Son of God He could have stopped what was happening at any point but He knew it was the only way. He chose to go through that horrendous ordeal for us. On that cross a divine exchange took place. He died the death due to us so we can receive the life that is due to Him.
Through these real events everyone of us was given the opportunity of a new beginning no matter how old we are and no matter what we have done wrong in our lives to date. We were given the chance of a new life. Forgiven of our sins and reconciled back to God to be part of His family for eternity.
For us to receive this incomprehensible gift of God’s mercy and grace we do have to meet His conditions as recorded in the Bible. We have to believe ‘The Gospel’ which means the GOOD NEWS…
We have to REPENT! We have to accept that we are sinners who stand guilty as charged before God. We have to feel truly sorry for all the wrongs we have done. We have to have a change of heart and mind. We have to choose to change the course of our lives and turn away from sin and its corrupting effect on us and our world.
Acts 17:30 ESV — The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,
We have to BELIEVE! We have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who lived for us, who died as the punishment for our sins for us, and who was raised from the dead for us.
1 Corinthians 15:3-8 ESV — For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
The above is the very basic nature of ‘The Gospel’ and even if you find yourself in a situation where you only have mere seconds left to live you can REPENT and truly BELIEVE in your heart what Jesus did for you, place your complete trust in him as saviour, and be saved.
If we really get a grip of this truth it will change everything for us! Think of it as a legal transaction. If you are in court with a stack of speeding fines and somebody else comes and pays them for you then you can walk away freely. The debt you owed has been paid and justice served.
The hard reality is because God is perfectly just He has to punish us for our sins. Sin is so serious to a holy God we all face the death sentence. Thankfully God is also perfectly good, kind, loving and merciful and has provided a way of escape for every single one of us. It is a free gift of His grace. We just have to accept it. Jesus died in our place. He paid our fine!
Romans 6:23 ESV — For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God’s resurrection of Jesus, on the third day after His death, proved He was who He said He was and showed to the world that God was satisfied beyond any doubt that Jesus had accomplished His mission to save us. In that one act of self sacrificial love for everyone of us on the cross, Jesus defeated the power of evil, sin, and death that has been over all of our lives and He defeated them completely, irreversibly, and forever!
You may well be reading this thinking this is a nice little fantasy to give his life some hope but it is in fact a reality. It is the truth that has deliberately been hidden from most of us all our lives by spiritual evil and its human administration.
Yes…there really are people high up in the world’s major institutions involved in keeping this truth from you in any way they can. This calculated and deliberate evil has never been so obviously exposed in the world as it is today.
1 John 5:19 ESV — We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
Will you continue to just go along with the world as the crowd do or will you stand up, reject it, and turn back to the God who you owe your very existence and everything you have to. Who so wants to save you. You just have to use the free will He gave you to choose to let Him.
Acts 2:21 ESV — And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
If you have read this far, and I do completely understand how difficult it may have been to do so, please seriously consider looking into what I have said no matter how far-fetched it may seem to you right now. What could be more important than deciding the eternal destiny of your soul for better or worse! There is a lot more to life than we have been led to believe. God created every single one of us for a reason. You are alive now, at this particular time in human history, for a reason. The true reason for your life is to be part of God’s family, to be part of His Kingdom, to work in partnership with Him to do good on the earth. The true purpose for your life is to find your unique role within that Kingdom. I hope you find it…
John 3:16-18 ESV — “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Don’t let anyone, or any false religion, deceive you! There is only one way to God and eternal life…
John 14:6 ESV — Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
